The workshop proceedings will be published in a special issue of JINST. Each speaker may submit a contribution of up to 8 pages for an oral, and up to 5 pages for a poster presentation. All papers will be refereed by the PIXEL Scientific Committee with the help of external experts.
Paper submission deadline is
Feb. 10, 2019.

Submission Instructions

To prepare your contribution for submission, please use the JINST Proceedings templates at
http://jinst.sissa.it/jinst/help/JINST_TeXclass.jsp

When writing your contribution, in addition to the scientific quality and relevance of the subject matter, it is advisable also to check the quality of formatting, language and style (i.e. incoherent use of unit of measure; different conventions used in the same paper such as abbreviations \3 s", \3 sec", \3 seconds" and position: \3C", \3 C"; poorly organized tables; etc.)

When your contribution is ready for submission, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Connect to http://jinst.sissa.it and register
  2. in the "Submit" section of the home page select the link
    "submit a proceedings contribution" (screenshot)
  3. select the "Pixel2018" conference from the list (screenshot)
  4. follow the step-by-step procedure for submission, referring to the instructions available at the section "For Authors" at the top of the JINST home page

  5. please note the following option is not valid for a proceedings paper,
    for the option "access to your paper" select "My article is a CERN article" if you, or at least one of the authors, are affiliated to CERN or if your paper is on behalf of a CERN collaboration (ATLAS, CMS, etc....). Otherwise select "I do not wish my article to be published open access...".
